Pomio Paradise Tourism Present page is the initiative of the Pomio District Development Authority under the Leadership of their Local MP, Hon. Elias Kapavore to promote the tourism activity in the District. Pomio, from the people to the Landscape, the culture and norm is something you would want to visit firsthand. Life about people, culture, mountains, caves, rivers, creeks, seas, plants and animal is something mysterious, unique and need to be explored.

Pomio in East New Britain is the fast Developing District in the province and the District Leadership looks into Conserving its many endangered species. National Fisheries Authority visit to Pomio is part of the idea of developing Pomio in a way environment is conserved.

Because Pomio is not linked by road to other District, the Local MP with his DDA manage to buy and Launch the new MV Pomio, so that the people can travel in safety, comfort and cost affordable. MV Pomio is used for Public transportation, shipment of Pomio cocoa, Pomio coffee, and other cash crops to East New Britain and other parts of the Country. MV Pomio also provides Service to the people of Pomio from Goods and Services in East New Britain, Papua New Guinea and World.
